Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer (NRM)
Position: Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer (NRM) Base Location: Chhattisgarh
Job Description: NRM Expert/Agri. Expert
a. Role and Responsibilities:
- Implementation of development programs in project areas covering the thematic areas of NRM, water, energy etc.
- Training & capacity building of field team, farmers.
- Liaison with district/block level departments/administration.
- Involves regular travel within the posted district for facilitation, review, monitoring, training etc. and occasional travel within & outside the state.
- Ensuring quality in the execution of fieldwork.
?b. Qualifications, skills, experience, competencies:
- B. Tech. in Civil, Agriculture, NRM, Watershed, Soil & Water Conservation, or a similar background. (Post-graduation may be preferred, but is not mandatory).
- 1– 3 years of experience (freshers with a strong academic record may be considered).
- Knowledge of relevant technology / field-level advisory.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to train field staff/farmers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively to field locations.
- Proactive approach to work, good follow-up, and follow-through.
- Open to learn, assimilate and adopt new and emerging developments.
- Teamwork and coordination with cross-functional departments.
- Ability to work in rural/agri-business environment.
- Commitment to quality, compliance, and farmer-centric approach.
- c. Remuneration
- CTC: 35,000-50,000 per month, commensurate with qualification and experience
- Additional information
- Posting location shall be Chhattisgarh
- Work area will cover travel across the States of Chhattisgarh/Odisha as part of visits to the projects.
